The first time I heard about a hearing specialist was in primary school when I had my own hearing screening experience after my parents realised that I needed glasses. In high school, I was fascinated by the process that occurs in the pathway of sound and knew it was an area I wanted to know more about.

I graduated from the University of KwaZulu Natal and joined the community of Mfundo Arnold Lushaba CHC in KZN to complete my community service, where I learnt that audiology isn’t just about managing hearing disorders. It’s about learning to listen as an audiologist and health practitioner, as well as achieving health goals with my patients. I’m passionate about ensuring that my patients receive optimum care and feel valued while looking after their health. I’ve now been welcomed with warm, open arms by NB Hearing and its amazing patients, and every day, I learn that there are a thousand ways to solve one problem, and each solution is unique to each patient. I look forward to growing as a clinician and developing my areas of interest to provide specialised care for those who have entrusted me with their hearing health to communicate better and connect with their loved ones.
